In 2017, fresh out of college with a business degree and a focus on human resources management, I was eager to enter the HR world. Helping people was my passion, and HR seemed like the perfect fit. However, by April 2018, I was in my first HR assistant role and feeling miserable. It wasn't the people-centric job I had envisioned.

Driven by a deep desire for more meaningful work, I turned to prayer, seeking God's guidance. After weeks of introspection, I felt led towards a career in career services. Despite limited job openings, I remained focused because I knew it was where God wanted me to be.

One day, a phone call changed everything.

A woman resigning from her position called the office and said she wanted to put in notice. After hanging up with her to start the process I noticed her job title: college and career specialist.

It felt like a sign, both exciting and nerve-wracking. I knew I had to pursue this new path, even if it meant leaving behind HR.

With my supervisor's support, I transitioned into this unfamiliar field. Armed with faith and determination, I tackled resume writing, appraisal questions, and interviews. At every step, I felt God's presence guiding me.

As I stepped into my new role, working with high school students, I felt a profound sense of purpose. But my journey didn't stop there. I ventured into resume writing and career coaching, realizing that my true calling was in helping others find fulfillment in their careers.

Although I strayed from this path at times, chasing financial security, I eventually realized that my purpose held the key to true freedom. Now, through Champion Business Services, I'm on a mission to empower others to find meaningful careers and embrace God's plan for their professional lives.

My goal is simple: to help Christians recognize the beauty and necessity of aligning their careers with God's purpose for ultimate success.
